| | Welcome to the home of the Massachusetts State Cricket League on the web. The MSCL was founded in 1906 and has been in continuous operation since the early 1960s.
Games are played throughout the Boston area and as far away as Wrentham. Take a look at our schedule and come see a game or two over the course of the season. We generally begin the season on the first weekend of May and end in the middle of September. There's always someone around who knows the game and will be very willing to share that knowledge.
If you've just moved to the area or are just finding out about cricket in Massachusetts, and you would like to play for a member club, send an email (or call) directly to the club. Check the list here for phone numbers and email addresses.
If you're a fan of the game then we welcome you to a relaxing weekend afternoon - we hope to see you soon. If you're a player, then good luck and see you on the field!

\"With great sadness i am writing this email to inform you all that our dear teammate Vijay A Krishnan suffered a cardiac arrest on the cricket filed while batting in a MSCL game.
An ambulance was called right away and the EMS team tried to revive him with a little success. He did recover slightly but was not breathing continuously when put in the ambulance. We all followed him to the hospital and after an hour so we were told that he did not make it. It is the most sad moment of our lives to have seen him battling for his life on the cricket field.
His body is lying in peace at Caritas hospital in Dorchester if anyone of you would like to go and see him.
He was one of the best teammates, a great person who always cheered and helped anyone in need. He will always be remembered as someone who was very generous, helpful and a fun loving person.
It is a great loss to anyone who knows him but it is even a bigger loss to his family who lost him at a very young age of 27. We all pray that his soul rest in peace and gives strength to his family to face this adversity.
WE WILL MISS HIM GREATLY.\"
